For technicians
The bay — clocking in, working your orders, inspections, DVIRs, and the mobile field portal.
This section covers your whole day in Meridian, from the first punch to the last. You can work from the shop computer or from your phone — the field portal shows the same jobs in a phone-sized view.
Your day at a glance
- Clock in. Punch the day clock when your shift starts.
- Open your work. Your assigned jobs are waiting in My Work on your phone, or on the shop's Tickets list.
- Work and document. Clock onto a job, note what you found and fixed in the 3C, and add the parts and labor you used.
- Inspect. Run a DVI so the customer sees the vehicle's real condition — or a DVIR if it's DOT fleet work.
- Wrap up. Mark your lines complete, polish your notes, and clock out.
