Welcome to Meridian
What Meridian is, how this manual is organized, and where to start for your role.
Meridian is the one system your whole shop works in: repair orders, estimates, parts and inventory, purchasing, scheduling, accounting, and fleet history — all connected. When an advisor writes a ticket, the parts counter sees the demand, the tech sees the assignment, and the books update when the invoice is paid. No re-typing between systems.
What Meridian does
- Service work — tickets, estimates, the schedule, digital inspections (DVI), and a shop board that shows where every job stands.
- Parts and inventory — a parts catalog with real on-hand counts, purchase orders, vendors, and transfers between locations.
- Money — invoicing, payments, statements, AR aging, and a full chart of accounts, in plain dollars-and-cents language.
- Fleets — vehicle history by unit number, preventive maintenance tracking, and fleet reporting for your commercial customers.
How this manual is organized
- Getting started (you are here) — signing in, finding your way around, and reading your dashboard.
- Role sections — advisors, parts, technicians, owners, and admin. Each section is a list of jobs you actually do ("Write up a repair order"), with numbered steps and screenshots.
- Reference — the glossary, the permissions matrix, and answers to common questions.
You only see what your role can reach
Meridian shows each person the areas their role allows. If a page or menu item in this manual doesn't appear for you, that's usually by design — ask whoever manages your shop's settings.
